What can change cost or timing?
Geometry, size, quantity, material, finishing, file readiness and the amount of physical validation still required.
Process
You do not need to know the production method before contacting BAUMS. Start with how the product should be used and what the next version needs to prove.
Four practical steps
Send a drawing, photo, measurement, digital model or written description. Tell us what the product should do and who will use it.
BAUMS reviews intended use, design, quantity, finish and uncertainty, then recommends a suitable development or production path.
When a test version is useful, we make and review it first. Projects are not rushed into production while important fit or function questions remain open.
Approved work moves into one-off or focused production. Files and production decisions are retained as a practical starting point for future runs.
What to send
A finished CAD model is helpful, but it is not required. One useful reference can be enough to start the conversation.
How decisions are made
Recommendations are based on function, appearance, quantity, material compatibility, budget and the amount of testing the project needs.
Geometry, size, quantity, material, finishing, file readiness and the amount of physical validation still required.
BAUMS will say when the requested result, scale or material is better served by a different production method or supplier.
Completion
Completed work can be collected locally by arrangement in the DMV area or shipped throughout the United States. The project-specific quote confirms the applicable delivery plan.
